Montanans will have opportunities to meet the commanding officer of the future USS MONTANA and one of its crew members from the Treasure State during their visit to Montana September 20 -23.

In addition to visits with state and local officials in Helena, Commander Michael Delaney and Electronics Technician Second Class (Nuclear) Evan Glenn of Bozeman will be introduced at public events in four communities. Attendees will hear the latest updates on the MONTANA’s construction, crew selection and training, and the eventual capabilities and missions of our namesake warship.

Anyone wishing to attend one of the events is encouraged to sign up soon since it is expected that seats will fill quickly.

    Thursday, September 20 in Billings

Joint Rotary Clubs special reception with the public invited.

The event will be sponsored and hosted by Billings West Rotary Club, Billings Downtown Rotary Club, and the Laurel Rotary Club, as well as the USS Montana Committee.

Time: 6:30-8:30 pm

Location: Camelot Ranch, 8736 Camelot Lane, 59106 in West Billings. Free parking.

Cost: No-host bar and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
